MANILA, Philippines – The weather state bureau on Thursday noon terminated its rain warning signals over Metro Manila due to an improving weather.
In its 12:20 p.m. advisory, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said light to moderate rainfall (1 to 7 millimeter per hour) was observed in Metro Manila for the past 2 hours.
"With this development, all Rainfall Warnings are now TERMINATED," PAGASA said.
However, it still advised residents to monitor the weather condition in their respective areas.
On Wednesday, PAGASA already terminated its rain warning signals over Metro Manila, but it was forced to issue a series of alerts following a sudden downpour in the afternoon.
