PAGASA keeps yellow warning over NCR

MANILA, Philippines (UPDATE) – The state weather bureau on Thursday morning kept the yellow warning signal it earlier issued signal over the northern portion of Metro Manila.

PAGASA said at 11 a.m., it observed moderate rainfall (5-7.5 mm/hr) over Caloocan, Malabon, Navotas and Valenzuela, and light to moderate rainfall (1-5 mm/hr) over Quezon City and Manila.

In its 10:30 a.m. advisory, PAGASA said moderate to heavy rains are expected over CAMANAVA while rains in Quezon City, Manila and Marikina are predicted to be light to moderate over the next two hours.

Residents in flood- and landslide-prone areas have been advised to take precautionary measures and to watch out for the next warning.
