MANILA - Cavite Governor Jonvic Remulla announced the suspension of classes in all levels for Tuesday, August 5, in the entire province due to monsoon rains.

Remulla made the announcement in his Twitter account.

In its 5 p.m. bulletin, state weather bureau PAGASA said Ilocos region and Central Luzon will continue to experience monsoon rains, which may trigger flashfloods and landslides.

"Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will have occasional rains. Visayas and CARAGA will have cloudy skies with light to moderate rains and thunderstorms. The rest of Mindanao will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms," PAGASA said.
