MANILA - Manila Mayor Joseph Estrada has suspended classes for the pre-school and elementary levels in the city.
This covers both public and private institutions.
Estrada told radio dzMM that signal 1 is already hoisted in Metro Manila and fears “this may get worse… We are just preparing.”
Tropical storm Glenda entered the Philippine Area of Responsibility on Sunday night.
While it is expected to make landfall in the middle of the week, storm signal number 1 is already hoisted over Metro Manila.
Five areas, on the other hand, are under storm signal number 2.
