MANILA – Investigators have discovered that the Porsche Cayenne found abandoned at a parking lot in Greenhills, San Juan City was apparently leased by a company executive.

SPO1 Arnulfo Anzales, San Juan Police investigator, said records from BDO Rental Inc. showed that URV Super Corp. president Francisco Mendoza leased the Porsche vehicle.

Police said BDO Rental confirmed that Mendoza has failed to pay the car's rent for the past three months. The monthly rent for the Cayenne is worth P142,000, police said.

Investigators said Mendoza could not be found in his residence in Marikina City.

The luxury car can only be released to BDO Rental upon the issuance of a clearance by the Philippine National Police Highway Patrol Group.

On Monday, Senior Inspector Melchor Rosales, deputy chief of the San Juan police, said a parking attendant noticed that the car with conduction sticker ZD7470 was left unlocked with the keys still inside.
