Some classes in Pasay, Cavite town remain suspended

MANILA, Philippines – Classes in Pasay and Rosario, Cavite remain suspended due to floods brought about by yesterday’s downpour.

The local government of Pasay City said only preschool and elementary classes in public schools remain suspended.

In Rosario town, Mayor Nonong Ricafrente recommended the suspension of classes from preschool to college in both private and public schools.

The low pressure area (LPA) that brought heavy rains over most parts of Metro Manila and some Luzon provinces is now over the West Philippine Sea.

The LPA was spotted 60 kilometers north northwest of Iba, Zambales as of 2 a.m.
