Afternoon classes in parts of QC, Valenzuela suspended

MANILA, Philippines – The local governments of Quezon City and Valenzuela on Monday announced the suspension of afternoon classes as floods have yet to subside in several parts of the two cities.

Quezon City Public Affairs and Information Services Office head Gregorio Banacia said upon the recommendation of the Quezon City Division of Schools, afternoon classes in the following public schools have been suspended:

  • Rosa Susano Elementary School - Barangay Gulod, Novaliches
  • Bagbag Elementary School - Richland V Subdivision, Barangay Bagbag
  • Dona Rosario Elementary School - Panday Pira St., Barangay Novaliches Proper
  • Benigno Aquino Elementary School - Commonwealth Avenue, Barangay Commonwealth
  • Commonwealth Elementary School - Commonwealth Avenue, Barangay Commonwealth
  • San Antonio Elementary School - San Antonio Extension, SFDM
  • L. R. Pascual Elementary School - Pascual Road, Barangay Baesa
  • Sergio Osmena High School
  • Masambong Elementary School - Wayan Street, Barangay Masambong

In Valenzuela, Public Information Officer (PIO) chief Ahna Mejia said the following schools have suspended their afternoon classes:

  • PR San Diego Elementary School
  • Karuhatan West Elementary School
  • Polo National High School
  • Karuhatan National High School
  • Wawang Pulo High School Annex
  • Wawalng Pulo Elementary School
  • Tagalag Elementary School
  • Arking Bato National High School
  • Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Valenzuela
