MANILA - A victim was rescued Tuesday night after her vehicle fell off a creek in Araneta Avenue, Quezon City.
The driver 18-year-old, identified as Joshielou Azarcon, was rescued around 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, about two hours after the vehicle fell off the creek.
Azarcon was later brought to St. Lukes Hospital for treatment.
According to the traffic sector of the Quezon City Police District (QCPD), the vehicle was on its way to Quezon Avenue when it turned left near Maria Clara Street and slowly hit the railing of the creek, causing the vehicle to fall.
Reports show that the wheel of the vehicle exploded, making it hard to control.
The incident caused traffic because a number of motorists stopped to take pictures of the sunken vehicle.
