Metro Manila temperature soars to 36.7C
MANILA - Today is the hottest day so far in Metro Manila this year, according to the state weather bureau PAGASA.
Weather forecaster Fernando Cada said the temperature at the Science Garden in Quezon City sizzled at 36.7 degrees Celsius at 1:50 p.m.
Saturday's temperature surpassed the 36.6 degrees Celsius recorded last Monday, May 19.
The country's hottest day so far this year was registered in Tuguegarao City at 39.8 degrees Celsius last Thursday, May 22.
