ADB official's home in Dasmariñas Village robbed

MANILA, Philippines – The home of an Asian Development Bank (ADB) director in Makati has been robbed by suspected members of the “Akyat Bahay Gang,” police said Thursday.

Richard Edward Scaroili, a British national, was out of the country when his home in Tamarind St., Dasmariñas Village was robbed.

Initial investigation by Makati Police showed that the suspects forcibly entered the backdoor and made their way to the master’s bedroom.

Police said only P1,000 and a laptop were reportedly missing from the house.

Investigation is still ongoing, as of posting.

Last week, the home of Iran's Ambassador to the Philippines Ali Mohammadi in Forbes Park Subdivision was also robbed.
