MANILA – Water level at the Angat Dam continues to plummet as the hot weather in the country persists, state weather bureau PAGASA said.
PAGASA said as of 6 a.m. Monday, the dam's water level was at 177.92 meters above sea level (masl), dropping 0.36 masl from yesterday's level.
The dwindling supply of water from Angat has affected farms in Pampanga and Bulacan. The critical level of the dam is at 180 masl.
Meanwhile, water level of three other dams also dropped.
PAGASA said La Mesa Dam's water level was at 77.86 masl as of 6 a.m. today, down from 77.92 masl yesterday.
San Roque dam's water level dropped by 0.26 masl to 236.8 masl, while that of Magat Dam dropped by 0.11 masl to 167.79 masl.
