MANILA – An employee of a roast chicken shop in Valenzuela was arrested on Wednesday after killing his supervisor by poisoning him with silver cleaner.

The suspect, identified as Remcy Flores, was arrested in Plaridel, Bulacan.

Flores admitted going into hiding after killing his supervisor, Leonardo Baris. His 17-year-old former boyfriend ''Edward'' was also arrested, while two other suspects remain at large.

Baris went missing on May 12. His body was later found stuffed in a box inside the shop's comfort room.

According to Flores, due to a personal grudge against Baris, he poured silver cleaner into the drink of the victim while the latter was away.

Flores said when he saw Baris having a seizure, he hit the latter with a fire extinguisher.

Flores said his two friends, who remain at large, helped him stuff the victim's body inside the box. Edward, on the other hand, kept the victim's motorcycle.

Flores said he regrets what he did, and asked for forgiveness from the victim's family. – report from Carolyn Bonquin, ABS-CBN News
