MANILA - A man was killed by a motorcycle-riding gunman along General Romulo Street in Cubao, Quezon City on Saturday, police said.
The victim was identified as 33-year-old Lynnald "Chris" Que, who worked as a warehouse man at the condominium building being constructed in the area.
According to a witness, Que, who was also on board a motorcycle, was about to enter the building's gate, when the suspect fired several shots at him.
The still unidentified gunman then immediately took the victim's backpack.
Que was rushed to the Quirino Memorial Medical Hospital but was declared dead on arrival.
Recovered from the crime scene were four empty bullet shells from a .45-caliber pistol.
Authorities said there were two closed circuit television (CCTV) cameras near the site where the shooting incident occurred.
However, the safety engineer of the condominium said the two cameras were not functioning.
