MANILA, Philippines – Robbers ransacked the Yakult office at the Regalado Avenue in Quezon City early Sunday morning, getting away with an estimated P10,000 worth of cash and other materials.
According to PO3 Jaime Samson, it was around 4 a.m. Sunday when they noticed that the shutters of the Yakult office were held open by a bicycle.
Nung may kalang, nakapasok sila," he added.
The robbers forcibly opened the vaults inside the office and rummaged through the drawers and cabinets as well.
Samson said the robbers were most likely looking for money.
"Warak, 'yung vault, sinira, bukas talaga. Nagkalat ang mga gamit, naghalungkat talaga," he said.
The owner said the robbers got away with a total of P10,000 worth of cash and other items.
Police have invited one suspect in for questioning. Report from Bettina Magsaysay, ABS-CBN News
