MANILA -- At least 12 families lost their homes after fire hit a residential area in Barangay Pasong Tamo, Tandang Sora, Quezon City Wednesday afternoon.
Quezon City Fire Marshal Supt. Jesus Fernandez said the fire gutted at least six houses in St. John Compound, Pingkian 1.
Initial investigation showed that the blaze started from the house of a certain Marissa Muñoz at around 2 p.m.
It reached the third alarm before it was declared out at 2:55 p.m.
No one was reported injured in the incident.
Authorities have yet to determine the cause of the blaze and the cost of damage caused by the fire. -- Reports from Robert Mano, dzMM; Doland Castro, ABS-CBN News
