MANILA, Philippines – More isolated rainshowers are expected in Metro Manila on Thursday, the state weather bureau said.

Although skies will stay clear in the morning, there’s a 90% chance of rain at around 3 p.m., according to PAGASA.

The same weather pattern will go on until the evening, which will bring cool weather conditions at night.

The rest of Luzon, meanwhile, will have warm and humid weather in the morning and afternoon but with isolated rainshowers.

The central islands particularly over the western portions, including Boracay, Iloilo and Cebu will also experience rains.

Down south, rains and thunderstorms will dampen much of Mindanao due to the inter-tropical convergence zone.

Those staying in Davao, Cagayan de Oro, Cotabato and General Santos City should expect the downpours to start coming in mostly in the afternoon or the evening. -- Report from Bettina Magsaysay, ANC
