MANILA, Philippines – At least 30 houses were razed after a fire hit a residential area in Parañaque City past noon Wednesday.
Parañaque chief arson investigator Nelson Tano said the fire reportedly started at the house of a certain Robert Buhawi along Quirino Avenue in Barangay Tambo at 12:40 p.m.
The fire reached the 4th alarm and was declared out at 1:45 p.m.
No one was reported hurt in the incident.
Some of the residents who lost their homes are taking temporary shelter at the Tambo Elementary School.
