Fire hits factory in Caloocan

MANILA – A fire hit a factory of extension cords in Caloocan City late evening Monday.

Fire erupted at the factory of Annkimted Enterprises Co., owned by a certain Tommy Sy, in Barangay 108 at around 11 p.m.

The fire reached the first alarm and was declared out at 1:15 a.m. on Tuesday.

Factory workers said the fire started at the building's second floor, where paper products and boxes were stored.

No one was reported injured in the incident.

Fire investigators have yet to determine the cause of the blaze, which damaged an estimated P100,000 worth of properties. – report from Jerome Lantin, ABS-CBN News
