MANILA, Philippines – Hot weather will continue to prevail over Metro Manila until Monday, the weather bureau said.
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said temperature on Saturday dropped to 36.1 degrees Celsius, compared to Friday’s 36.4 degrees Celsius.
Friday was the hottest day in Metro Manila so far this year, according to PAGASA.
Meanwhile, Southern Mindanao, including Davao, Cagayan de Oro, and Zamboanga City will have scattered rains due to a shallow low pressure area.
Extreme Northern Luzon will also get a break from the summer heat due to the tail-end of a cold front.
The rest of the country will have a mix of sun, clouds, and some passing showers. -- ANC
