MANILA – A technical glitch disrupted the operations of the Light Rail Transit Line 1 (LRT 1) on Tuesday, officials said.
Light Rail Transit Authority spokesperson Hernando Cabrera said a south-bound train of LRT 1 was stuck at the Blumentritt Station after ''losing traction power."
Cabrera said the train needed to be reset by line technicians.
Lyn Paragas, LRTA public relations officer, said the train's brake system also lost enough air pressure.
LRT 1 operations resumed at 7:22 a.m., Cabrera said. – report from Noel Alamar, dzMM
