MANILA (UPDATED) -- Operations of the Metro Rail Transit (MRT-3) were disrupted on Tuesday morning due to a broken rail.
According to MRT general manager Al Vitangcol, the broken rail was found in the southbound lane between between North Avenue and Quezon Avenue stations.
The MRT management implemented provisional service from Shaw Boulevard to Taft Avenue station and vice versa at 9:35 a.m.
The repair of the broken rail took more than two hours.
