MANILA – The Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) has offered a job to the woman who lost her hand in a bus crash along South Luzon Expressway (SLEx) last March.

Almarie Camson, 35, was offered a job as an encoder by the LTFRB.

Camson was on her way to Manila last March 24 to train for a domestic helper job in Hong Kong. However, tragedy struck when the bus she was riding careened off SLEx and fell on its side, leaving her and 44 others injured.

Camson earlier said she is a single parent who has to provide for her three children -- ages 7, 5 and 2. She is now on her way to recovery at her house in San Luis, Batangas after a two-week hospital confinement.

The LTFRB said Camson may report to work once she is fully recovered. – report from Robert Mano, dzMM
