Gateway Mall gets bomb threat
MANILA -- The Gateway Mall in Cubao received a bomb threat on Thursday morning, police said.
According to Quezon City Police District Public Information Office Chief Senior Inspector Maricar Taqueban, the human resource officer of Accenture, Stephanie Lucena, received a text message at around 5 a.m. saying that a bomb planted inside the mall will explode at 8 a.m.
Personnel of the QCPD's Firearms and Ordnance Division were immediately sent to the area to search for traces of explosives.
The search yielded negative results.
