MANILA - Five alleged members of 'Siksik Gang' were arrested Wednesday evening in Parañaque after one of their victims reported them to the police.
The group commonly preys on passengers of buses plying Roxas Boulevard. They would press against the bodies of the victims while taking their belongings, or point a blade at them.
According to PO1 Ramoncito Sabido of Parañaque Police Community Precint 1, a woman went to their office and told them that she lost her mobile phone inside a bus.
They immediately looked for the bus and arrested five suspects who were still inside the bus.
The suspects were identified as Renren Luna, Arvin Cainglit, Ramil Jugar, Christopher Fojas, and RJay Alas.
Authorities recovered two knives, an ice pick and the victim's mobile phone from the suspects.
They will be facing charges of robbery and illegal possession of deadly weapons. -- Jerome Lantin, ABS-CBN News
