MANILA (UPDATED) – A lone bettor won the P249.8 million jackpot prize in Monday's GrandLotto 6/55 draw, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) said.
The winning number combination is 39-21-42-28-05-27.
The winner will take home a jackpot prize of P249,841,572.
PCSO general manager Jose Ferdinand Rojas said the GrandLotto winner placed his bet at the Pio del Pilar St. Makati lotto outlet.
There were also 25 winners of the P169,410 second prize and 2,700 winners of the P1,250 third prize, he said.
Since the jackpot prize has been won, it will be reset to the minimum amount P30 million in the next draw on Wednesday.
Last April 1, a businessman from San Fernando, Pampanga won the P63-million Super Lotto jackpot.
Rojas said the 32-year-old winner from Pampanga who placed the combination 09-13-17-20-22-29 is married with two children.
According to Rojas, the winning bettor placed a P40 bet on a number combination he dreamed about. The winner has been playing the lotto for the past 13 years.
Rojas said the winner said he plans to use the money to expand his trading business and will save some for his children. - with a report from The Philippines Star
