MANILA, Philippines – The country should brace for hotter days ahead as, according to weather bureau PAGASA, it sees no weather disturbance within the Philippine Area of Responsibility in the next few days.
PAGASA’s Aldczar Aurelio said this means sunny conditions may prevail affecting temperature.
Saturday’s noontime temperature hit 34°C and forecasts say it could go a notch higher on Sunday, possibly at 35°C.
Real feel on Saturday was also pegged at 41-42 °C due to humidity.
Health authorities have reminded the public to stay indoors at noontime and rehydrate with lots of water. -- ANC
