MANILA -- Nine international flights departing from the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) were delayed on Thursday due to bad weather in Hong Kong.
The Airport Media Affairs Office said affected flights are Philippine Airlines flights PR 300 and 301; Cebu Pacific flight 5J109; and Cathay Pacific flights CX 904, 912, 906, 900, 918 and 902.
Dante Basanta, NAIA Terminal 1 manager, said all affected passengers are being handled by their respective airlines.
The affected flights will have to get a clearance from Hong Kong before taking off from Manila for safety reasons, due to bad weather conditions at the country of destinations. -- Report by Raoul Esperas
