Alleged gun-toting vs Asistio family probed
MANILA, Philippines (UPDATE) – Philippine Savings Bank (PSBank) on Wednesday said it is investigating the alleged gun-toting incident involving one of its armored van guards and the family of actress Ynna Asistio.
"Philippine Savings Bank (PSBank) is currently investigating a report of an incident between the family of Ms. Ynna Asistio and alleged PSBank armored van security personnel," the bank said in a statement.
Asistio said on her Twitter account on Tuesday that an armored van cut their vehicle off along EDSA.
One of the guards then allegedly pulled out a shotgun and pointed it at them.
“This armored car with body number 651 and plate no XGS 154 ginitgit kami sa edsa at tinutukan ng baril after nya kmi tutukan binilisan nya andar niya. Pinilit namin habulin para isumbong pero d n namin nahabol i got so scared and im still in shock right now,” Asistio said on Twitter.
Asistio said she was seated at the passenger seat with her niece while her aunt Tanya was the one driving.
Tanya said she had moved out of the way to avoid hitting the armored van, which made the gun-toting unnecessary.
Also in the vehicle were Asistio’s parents Nadia Montenegro, former Caloocan Mayor Boy Asistio and 2 others.
Asistio said she had to calm her father down because he was also carrying a firearm.
