MANILA - A lawyer died in an ambush in Sta. Ana, Manila Wednesday, police said.
According to Supt. Albert Barros of Manila Police District (MPD) Station 6, the victim, Atty. Pedro Clinton Laudencia was onboard his car when he was gunned down as he approached New Panadero and Asusena Street.
The unidentified gunman, wearing a helmet, escaped onboard a motorcycle.
The victim was immediately brought to Sta. Ana Hospital but was declared dead on arrival due to gunshot wounds he sustained on his neck, arm and other parts of his body.
Authorities are investigating the motive behind the crime.
Laudencia is an official of the Printing Industry Association of the Philippines. -- report from Zhander Cayabyab, DZMM
