Parts of Roxas Blvd. closed due to fun run

MANILA - Parts of Roxas Boulevard have been closed for a fun run that started Sunday morning.

The 2014 Run United 1, conducted by the pharmaceutical company Unilad, set its route from Mall of Asia to Luneta at P. Burgos.

Roxas Boulevard's southbound lane was closed to enable participants have a clear pass through the road.

Its northbound lane from Buendia up to the road in front of Manila Hotel and the Buendia flyover are also closed.

Motorists are adviced to pass through the service road of Roxas Boulevard or at Taft Avenue, South Superhighway at Quirino Avenue instead, as the fun run may take until noon before roads may be opened again.
