Bomb hoax disrupts Makati school classes

MANILA – A bomb hoax disrupted classes at the Makati City National High School in Barangay Poblacion Wednesday morning, police said.

Senior Superintendent Manuel Lucban, chief of Makati Police, said the school security guard received a phone call from an anonymous person at around 7:30 a.m. saying that a bomb is set to explode inside the school.

All the school buildings were evacuated, and bomb experts immediately scoured the school premises for any explosive.

Classes resumed at 8:45 a.m. after authorities failed to find any explosive within the school premises. – report from Dennis Datu, dzMM
