American argues online with GF, dies in computer shop
MANILA - An American suddenly died while inside a computer shop in Quiapo, Manila on Wednesday afternoon.
The victim was identified as John Frederick Warnaca, 47 years old, from Fresno, California.
He came into the computer shop past 2 p.m. Other users said that by 3:30 p.m., Warnaca had leaned on his seat and stopped moving. This prompted them to call for help.
However, Warnaca was already dead when authorities arrived.
Based on his recent activity on his Facebook account, Warnaca was talking to a Filipina, believed to be his girlfriend. Their online conversation also showed that the two had an argument before Warnaca died.
Authorities are tracing the family of the victim. They have also informed the American Embassy about the incident. - report from Zhander Cayabyab, DZMM
