MANILA - Another honest janitor has returned a wallet accidentally left behind by a returning overseas Filipino worker (OFW) from Dubai.

The wallet, which contained foreign currency equivalent to around P100,000, was found by airport janitor Daniel Valentin, a 42-year-old resident of Villamor Airbase, Pasay City.

Airport police identified the owner as Jerome Franco Biason,  who boarded a taxi at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport's departure area en route to a bus terminal bound for Tarlac.

Biason said he was not aware that he lost his wallet, and thanked Valentin for returning his hard-earned money.

Valentin said he never had second thoughts on keeping the wallet because he believes in karma.

"Hindi ko na po pinag-isipan na itago ang wallet dahil alam ko na kung sino man ang may-ari ay mayroon itong paglalaanan," he said. - report from Raoul Esperas
