5 wounded in Marikina bomb blast
MANILA -- Five were left wounded after a bombing incident took place at Paraiso Street, Barangay Parang, Marikina City on Saturday night.
Based on the investigation conducted by the Marikina Philippine National Police, the suspects were two motorcycle-riding men.
According to Senior Inspector Glen Aculana of Marikina Police Investigation, Scene of the Crime Operatives (SOCO) are still studying the fragments found at the crime scene.
Superintendent Reynaldo Jagmis, chief of the Marikina City Police, said they found a lead on the crime and are working on follow-up operations.
It was reported that the bombing may be related to a drug operation, but this is still awaiting confirmation as investigations continue.
