MANILA – Starting Tuesday, the 60 kilometers per hour speed limit along Commonwealth Avenue will stretch all the way to Fairview area, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority said.
The policy presently covers the span of the avenue from Philcoa area until Sandiganbayan.
The MMDA said that starting tomorrow, the speed limit will be implemented from Sandiganbayan area up to Doña Carmen in Fairview.
More traffic enforcers equipped with speed guns will be deployed, the MMDA said.
At least 23,000 motorists have violated the policy since it was implemented. – report from Dennis Datu, dzMM
