4 suspects in Isabela mayor's slay plead not guilty

MANILA, Philippines – Four suspects pleaded not guilty on Monday to the murder of Maconacon, Isabela Mayor Erlinda Domingo last month.

Marisabal Indaman Abduhadi and his wife Grace, Christian Pajerada, and Michael Domingo all pleaded not guilty before Branch 220 of Quezon City Regional Trial Court under the sala of Judge Jose Paneda.

The four suspects also pleaded not guilty to charges of frustrated murder of Domingo's driver, Bernard Plasos.

Grace Abduhadi and Pajerada were also charged with illegal possession of firearms in relation to the Omnibus Election Code. Likewise, Abduhadi and Pajerada pleaded not guilty to the charges.

The court has scheduled the case's preliminary conference on March 6, and the preliminary trial on April 6.

Domingo was shot dead last January 22 outside the Park Villa Apartelle, located at the corner of Quezon Ave. and Examiner Road.
