5 honest NAIA workers honored

MANILA - The Manila International Airport Authority on Wednesday honored 5 airport workers for returning nearly P500,000 in cash left behind by Ninoy Aquino International Airport passengers.

Among those who received plaques of appreciation from MIAA management were janitor Ronnie Oquendo, who returned P96,000 left behind at the NAIA Terminal 2; messenger-janitor Richard Baybayon who returned P175,000 found at NAIA-1, janitor Rodelyn dela Vega who returned P150,000 found at NAIA-3; and service crew Rolly Absentillas and Mark Joven Aquino who returned P65,000 found at NAIA 2.

MIAA General manager Jose Angel Honrado said the 5 airport workers deserve to be celebrated for their acts of honesty.

An appreciation dinner will be held in their honor Wednesday night
