MANILA -- Fire razed a factory of tarpaulin in Barangay 75, Pasay City early morning on Saturday.
Authorities said the fire started at the second floor of the Limkaco Industry building, owned by Gary Lim, along Ignacio Street, Park Avenue at around 5 a.m.
It reached the fourth alarm before it was put out by firefighters.
Witnesses said they also heard an explosion inside the building during the incident.
An estimated P5 million worth of tarpaulin and paint was destroyed in the blaze.
No casualties were reported.
Initial investigation showed that the fire was caused by faulty electrical wiring. -- Report from Kori Quintos, ABS-CBN News
