MANILA, Philippines -- Work at the Kalawaan barangay hall in Pasig City was disrupted on Thursday morning due to a bomb threat.
Pasig City Police Chief Mario Rareza said personnel of the barangay hall received threats that a bomb will explode inside the building.
The Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) and bomb experts, however, found no bomb inside the barangay hall.
Kalawaan Barangay Chairman Jimmy Lee suspects the bomb hoax was politically motivated.
Barangay hall personnel returned to work at around 10 a.m. -- Report from Dexter Ganibe, dzMM
