MANILA -- The hot weather prevailing in Metro Manila at present is temporary, according to national weather bureau PAGASA.
After experiencing cold weather for the past few weeks, the temperature in Metro Manila rose to 32 degrees Celsius on Sunday.
PAGASA explained that the sudden change in temperature is caused by the warm air brought by the northeast monsoon. It also said the hot weather is temporary, and will only last for two days.
The weather bureau added, however, that the weather will not be as cool as before since summer is already approaching.
Meanwhile, tourists who flocked to Baguio City to experience the cold weather were disappointed when the temperature in the city rose from 15 degrees Celsius to 23 degrees Celsius. -- report from Raffy Santos, ABS-CBN News
