Cedric Lee ready to face charges
MANILA -- Businessman Cedric Lee said Monday he is ready to face the charges actor Vhong Navarro filed against him, adding that he has no plans of leaving the country.
"Hindi po ako tatakbo. Kung kailan akong ma-convict, so be it," Lee said.
Lee also said he does not regret what he did to Navarro. "Hindi ko po pinagsisisihan kung mangyari ulit, uulitin ko ulit yan."
According to Lee, he did what he had to, to defend his friend Deniece Cornejo.
"Lumalabas na kami pa ang masama," he said.
Meanwhile, Lee denied any romantic involvement with Cornejo, saying they are just friends. "Kaibigan ko lang si Deniece, may asawa na po ako at tatlo anak ko," he said.
Lee, however, failed to give any information on the whereabouts of Cornejo's parents.
Meantime, he is still contemplating on a filing libel case against Navarro, but said that Cornejo is adamant on pursuing a case against the actor for attempted rape. - Reports from DZMM
