MANILA – The temperature in Metro Manila dropped to 15.8° Celsius on Sunday, the coldest recorded in 2014, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said.
The temperature was recorded in Quezon City at 4:50 a.m. on Sunday.
Yesterday, Metro Manila's temperature dropped to 16.9 ° C.
Last year, the coldest day in Metro Manila was on January 24, when the temperature dropped to 18.1° C.
PAGASA said the cold weather is caused by the northeast monsoon or “Amihan.”
