MANILA -- Four people were arrested after authorities discovered 200 kilograms of shabu inside their vehicle in Marina Bay area, Parañaque City on Friday afternoon.
According to Atty. Roque Merdeguia, spokesperson of the Philippine National Police - Anti-Illegal-Drugs Special Operations Task Force (PNP-AIDSOTF), an informant told them that a silver Mitsubishi Adventure with plate number WVI 579 from Parañaque will be delivering illegal drugs to Cavite.
The PNP-AIDSOTF then immediately followed the vehicle.
Upon inspection, they found out that the vehicle was carrying six wooden boxes which contained around 200 kilograms of shabu.
One of the men inside the vehicle, who identified himself as Robert Tan, said they were just instructed to get the boxes from a hotel in Parañaque and then deliver them to Cavite.
They were told that they would be paid P70,000 for the delivery, Tan said.
Based on their identification cards, the three other suspects were identified as Oliver Tan, Mark Jun San Gabriel and Felino Lopez.
