MANILA - The National Capital Regional Police Office (NCRPO) has ordered the relief of several policemen who did not perform their tasks during the holidays last year.
According to NCRPO Regional Director Chief Superintendent Carmelo Valmoria, most of the policemen allegedly abandoned their assigned posts in malls and transport terminals last December.
He added that they have already asked for an explanation on why these cops were not able to perform their duty during the holidays.
Majority of the policemen came from different districts in Manila, who might lose their jobs if proven guilty of abandoning their posts.
The policemen will be sent to Camp Bagong Diwa in Taguig for retraining. -- report from Dennis Datu, dzMM
