MANILA, Philippines – An estimated P100, 000 worth of property was destroyed when a fire razed four stores in Baclaran early Sunday morning.
The fire started around 7:20 a.m. in a stall at the Flores Market. Because the products sold were mostly plastics, the fire quickly spread to three other nearby stores.
According to Senior Fire Officer 1 Vicente Arellano, the arson investigator of the Parañaque City Fire Station, they suspect that the fire started due to faulty electrical wiring.
The fire was put out at 7:52 a.m. No one was reported hurt in the incident. -- Report from Dennis Datu, DZMM.
