DOJ employee, 3 others robbed in Tomas Morato

MANILA – An employee of the Department of Justice (DOJ) and three others were robbed in Quezon City on Thursday morning.

Records from the Quezon City Police District (QCPD) Station 10 said the victim, 25-year-old DOJ technical assistant John Abraham Lagarte, was walking with three other people near the corner of Scout Fernandez Street and Tomas Morato Avenue when they were blocked by five men on board four motorcycles.

The police blotter said the suspects pointed their firearms at the victims and took the latter's cellphones and cash amounting to about P20,000. – report from Johnson Manabat, dzMM
