Stephanie Nicole's remains to be brought to school
MANILA, Philippines – The remains of 7-year-old Stephanie Nicole Ella will be brought to her elementary school upon the request of her principal and other teachers.
Ella, who was killed by a stray bullet fired during New Year’s celebrations, will be brought to Tala Elementary School in Caloocan City on Friday, January 11.
From the school, Ella’s remains will be brought to the Lord’s Flock Sanctuary Church in Tala, where she will lie in state before being buried on January 12 at the Sanctuario de Paz in Norzagaray, Bulacan.
Ella was at the top of her class after the first and second grading periods this school year.
The 7-year-old slipped into a coma after getting hit on the head by a stray bullet while watching fireworks outside their Caloocan home during the New Year. She died Wednesday at the East Avenue Medical Center after suffering cardiac arrests. -- Report from DZMM
