MANILA - A drug suspect was nabbed by agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) - National Capital Region (NCR) on his way out of the Dept. of Justice (DOJ) following a preliminary investigation hearing.
Changxin Wang is a respondent in a drug case involving a buy-bust operation last Feb. 2012 that allegedly yielded 2 kilos of shabu.
The PDEA said the money trail of the alleged drug syndicate was traced to Wang's bank account.
Wang's arrest was effected by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by the Quezon City Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 103.
The preliminary investigation hearing at the DOJ was brought about by the court's grant of Wang's motion for a reinvestigation of the case against him.
The case against Wang also involves Mark Sy Tan who is also undergoing preliminary investigation at the department.
