MANILA, Philippines - Policemen's "sealed" guns will be inspected on Wednesday, the Philippine National Police Chief said, as those found to have fired their guns illegally will be met with punishment.
Policemen's guns were sealed last Saturday to prevent any illegal firings during New Year eve celebrations. Those found to have fired their guns illegally may be discharged from service.
Reports on Tuesday morning showed 19 were already injured by stray bullets on New Year's eve. Victims included a two-year old girl, a four-year child and a pregnant woman. --DZMM
