China donates $200K to typhoon survivors
MANILA, Philippines – The Chinese government has donated $200,000 to Mindanao residents who were affected by Typhoon Pablo.
The cash donation was turned over by Chinese Ambassador to the Philippines Ma Keqing to Foreign Affairs Assistant Secretary for Asia and Pacific Affairs Ma. Theresa P. Lazaro on Friday.
The amount will be remitted to the account of the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) to be used to help in the relief efforts for the typhoon survivors.
